Mary and Scott live in  Pickett, Wisconsin.  Twelve years ago they started Mary Flanagan Woolens, offering high quality woolens for rug hooking and other textile crafts.

Mary and Scott have been designing in a number of capacities for the past 30 years.  After receiving  degrees in Business and Theatrical Costume Design, Mary and Scott started their own clothing design and manufacturing business.  Their designs focused on wool collaged blazers, jackets and coats for women. 

A love of textiles, especially wool, has led us to the world of rug hooking and textile arts. Scott took an interest in the subtle complexities of achieving consistent colors when hand dyeing wool,   developing our unique color palette.      

Our dye studio in rural Wisconsin
is the house that Mary's grandfather built in the 1920's.
